‘Al shabaab video on killing of Kenyan soldiers is fake’ says military
Al Shabaab has been known of spreading propaganda about killings of Kenyan soldiers
Kenya military has warned of a scheme by Al shabaab militias to release a video clip showing execution of Kenyan soldiers by the terror group.
“We continue to receive credible information that the Al Shabaab are planning to release a video clip showing the execution of ‘a person or people’ alleging to be KDF troops captured during Operation Linda Nchi,” says a statement by Military spokesman Emmanuel Chirchir.
“We take this early opportunity to categorically state that no KDF soldier has been captured or is missing since the onset of Operation Linda Nchi. This clip is to project their non-existent success,” says the military.
In the statement Chirchir ask the media not to circulate the clip, “Media stations should not transmit it as this will be glorifying the criminals, use the media as a tool for their propaganda and creating unwarranted panic amongst Kenyans.”
Al shabaab has of late spread propaganda about the killing of Kenya soldiers in Somalia,shooting of two Kenya military jets amongst others which to date they have not provided any evidence.

Totally agree,in war there are casualties the one who gets the lowest wins the war. So far Kenya is the victor here.
Whether the clips are true or not “Operation linda nchi” has to prevail. I hope by now we all know Al-shabaab is an enemy and they can only do what enemies do.
Al shabaab is an enemy of the people of Kenya and our media should at all times report positively about our patriotic soldiers whether they kill them or not,at the end I am sure we will prevail
